The 2010 Information Beatbox Festival

DAY 1 - Meet and Greet
Friday, November 5th/2010

Beatbox Canada invites all partners, media, artists and participants for an all-inclusive VIP party in Toronto. Here, guests will be able to experience an intimate take on the history and the current state of beatbox culture. Open mic performances will welcome both beatboxers and enthusiasts alike. Food and drinks will be served, live performances, art showcase, booth exhibitors, product samplings, film screenings and swag bags.

SHOWTIME: 9pm - 3am

DAY 2 - Main Event (19+)
Saturday, November 6th/2010

The battle: 16 contestants. 5 judges. 1 winner.

All media, partners and the public are invited to witness the nation's top vocal percussionists showcase and compete in a head-to-head style tournament. The winner will represent Canada at the World Championships in Germany 2011. The venue will hold booths offering product sampling, banners, VIP area, bottle service and more. Multiple showcases throughout the night will present the beatboxing's evolution beyond its hip hop tradition.

SHOWTIME: 5pm - 10pm

PERFORMANCES: Sick Sound Syndrome, Sweet Touch Foundation, King of the Dot freestyle battle, North Buck Krump, Gadfly Dance Company
