Toronto, ON — The WBA and Beatbox Canada are proud to present the first Canadian Beatbox Champion KRNFX (Terry Im) age 21 from Toronto, Ontario. KRNFX was crowned the title Saturday night (Nov. 6, 2010) at a packed Mod Club Theatre T.O. where hundreds came out to witness Canada's first ever Canadian Beatbox Championships.

KRNFX was among Canada's Top 16 best beatboxers who came out from from Calgary, Québec, Hamilton, Ottawa, Windsor, St-Catherine's, Kingston and Toronto fighting to represent Canada at the World Beatbox Championships in 2011.

KRNFX's win came after a wild final overtime round with fellow Toronto beatboxer Scott Jackson.

"Winning the first ever Canadian Beatbox Championships is a blessing" says KRNFX. "Now that we have established ourselves as a strong beatbox community, it's time to represent the powerhouse that is Canada to the fullest!"

KRNFX already carries a strong fan following. He holds two South Korean Beatbox Champion titles (2007 and 2009). Following his second win he was a Top 10 Finalist in 2009 BeatboxBattle World Championships in Berlin, Germany. 2010 was a big year for KRNFX as he was a finalist in the Emperor of the Mic battle in Austria. Before becoming Canada's Beatbox Champion KRNFX is also the 2010 Toronto Beatbox Champion and he helped achieve the Guinness World Record Attempt for the Largest Human Beatbox Ensemble.
